Projects # 22, 23, 24, & 25

It has been so hard for me to keep up lately. I've been running the household now that my mom is gone in Idaho with my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew. Cooking dinner and keeping the boys in order is not as easy as it looks. So, thanks mom. I can't take any pictures because my mom took the camera with her to Idaho. Soooo, I'll post pictures when my mom comes home. Now, onto the long part.
Wednesday: I went to a pool party. Sort of. I didn't actually do anything; I just sat in the pool and talked to some girls. I think I watched a movie, too.
Thursday: Went to the library. (yes!) My mom left for Idaho, and me an Ben hung out. I'm pretty sure I went swimming and had a workout that day- I distinctly remember saving a bee from a sad death of drowning. Heaven knows why, but I have a strange affection for bees.
Friday: Cleaned. Lots. I sorta went into a frenzy, and I made a very nice dinner for the boys, since my dad came home that night. I read a bit and I probably watched a movie. I have this thing with watching movies because I am a very...visual person. I like to see things. It was also my best friend Louisa's birthday, and I wish her many happy returns. Happy Sweet 16!
Today: I went shopping for a present, and then I helped my dad tile his bathroom- grueling process, but I have gained a respect for disco era music. Especially the BeeGee's and Michael Jackson. (We were listening to my dad's era of music.) And now most of the bathroom is tiled. So the picture is not recent, but it is what I was doing today.
Hope everyone had a happy week. I know I did.

Projects # 20 & 21

I was just looking back in the past today and decided to put this picture up. So much younger......
The Report:
Yesterday, I went to the gym at an excruciatingly early hour (10:30 AM) and worked out for about an hour. It was pretty much uneventful besides the fact that I smashed my foot in the Elliptical machine. The best part was that no one even noticed. Or at least, I don't think so. Then I read some books, watched a movie, and went to Chipotle with my Mom and Ben. Sorry Dad. For FHE we played Up Words and I really feel like I did terrible.
Today, however, I awoke even later than usual, took a swim (that was fun; all by myself) and then I went off to piano. I feel bad for my piano teacher; I was at camp all last week, so I didn't have a lot of time to practice. All she said to me was: "Maybe work on everything for one more week." Hint, hint. Then, as usual, I proceeded to the place with many books and spent some time there. I just finished watching a movie, and now I plan to do some vacuuming at the request of my mother. I've been having a pretty easy week so far. I think I might go to the gym tonight though- maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get my foot stuck in the Elliptical again.

Projects # 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, &, uh, 19

Don't blame me. I was gone all week. Well, most of the week. I enjoy a quiet life; you know me.
Monday- I babysat some rowdy kids in Apache Junction (I got very lost trying to drive there) for about 5 hours and crashed.
Tuesday- Same as Monday. Only I didn't get lost and I got a membership to a gym. Only I haven't used it yet.
Wednesday- LEFT FOR GIRLS CAMP. I was a YCL this year, so it was crazy and I had to do a lot of stuff.
Thursday- Saturday- Was occupied at Girls Camp and came home Saturday very unhappy, unwilling to listen to anything anyone wanted me to do, and absolutely filthy.

Some tidbits about Girls Camp: I was bruised, bitten, and burned, but it was an overall good experience. My friend woke me up in the middle of the night (that was scary) because she had to go to the bathroom and I went on a hike that almost made me unrecognizable. It was very scary and one girl almost fell off the cliff. Some girls from another ward also broke our addie window and scared some people to death, and I also learned that some trees smell like vanilla. Fun fun.

In other news, Happy Birthday to my sister Becky who just turned 20. Love you! And Happy Father's Day to my awesome dad.

Project # 10, 11, 12, & 13

Oh. My. Gosh. Can I say that I'm behind? But I am making up for not only today but tomorrow as well, so I don't have to worry about it. So:
Wednesday: (I know I blogged that day, but it was in the morning, so I didn't count that day- I have to remind myself never to do that again, totally threw me off) I went to Prescott for a day trip with Dad, Lauren, and Morgan and we had a considerably lovely time. The weather was quite a bit cooler than in Mesa, and there was actually a cool breeze. We looked through some shops and had lunch at an old hotel while Morgan gnawed her way through a pickle. I didn't think she had it in her. I don't have any pictures of that day because they are all on Lauren's camera, but there is a picture of me playing on an ancient piano in an even more ancient hotel lobby on Facebook. Don't look for it.
Yesterday: I went to the mall with my dad, Lauren, and Morgan and she had her first experience on the Merry-Go-Round. We're still not sure if the face she was pulling was because she was feeling sick or that she was actually liking it. We then went to a very long trip to Michael's (Don't ask) and Morgan had fun sucking on the package for glow sticks while we listened to Paula Dean advertising for home cooking every 13 minutes. I also went for a rather intense swim and worked out liked I haven't for a while.
Today: Woke up at 5 AM randomly. It was super fun. I attended a YCL camp meeting this morning and then I went- guess where- the library. Does that sound like Hermione Granger to you? I then played with Morgan and me and Lauren watched a movie. Plus, tonight, me and my dad are going to a baseball game- St. Louis Cardinals against the Diamondbacks. Should be a laugh, apparently.
Tomorrow: I am going to relax after Lauren and Morgan's flight and have a movie day. I think I deserve it, don't you?
One word: Success.

Project # 8 & 9

Sorry it took me so long to post; I've been a little busy. Monday, me, Lauren and Morgan went to the library and we had great fun. Everyone looked at Morgan and not at us- I was quite offended. But I got some books (Lauren is reading them all, of course) and a movie. We played with Morgan for a while and at bath time she "gave me loves." What this really means is I put my cheek next to Morgans mouth and say: "Give me loves!" And then she will proceed to give you and open mouth slobber-kiss that is gross but so adorable at the same time. I forgot to mention that on Monday, I worked really hard on my Personal Progress for Young Womens so that I can get it all done this summer. Yesterday, I worked on my PP (surprise, surprise) and I had piano. Then we played with Morgan, had bath time (more slobber kisses!) and we watched a movie- Wolverine. I was prepared to hate it because it's all macho and I'm-such-a-man-I-have-claws-coming-out-of-my-hands movie. But I did like it and I do admit; I have a thing for Hugh Jackman. Well, I always have. There really aren't any pictures of Morgan because we haven't been taking any; sorry. But I think that this suffices.

Project # 6 & 7

Yesterday, Me, Lauren and Morgan went swimming! It was her first time in a big pool, and I personally think that she did very well, and she was even kicking on her own. She's a swimmer in the making! But she did get a little upset towards the end, so we didn't stay in too long. She was not too thrilled about sunscreen, as you can imagine, but it was necessary. She even liked to splash. So- success. Today was good too, even though I didn't see as much of Morgan as yesterday. Me and Lauren went shopping at the coolest place ever in Tempe. Totally bohemian, but great just the same. Me and Lauren got some great clothes and had a great time trying to get in and out of skinny jeans that were a little too tight. But- still so much fun! Shortly after we came home, our new oven came! It looks great in the kitchen, and my dad is still raving over it. Lauren and Morgan went to dinner at the Cheescake Factory with some of Erik's relatives that live here, and I watched a movie. Remember how I was watching all the Harry Potter's but I had to skip the 4th because I couldn't find it? Well, when I was cleaning the other day, I found it, so I watched it today. It was made so long ago! I'd forgotten. But I hope that no one minds I put so many pictures up; I'm trying to keep my brother-in-law in the loop! Hope you're doing well Erik! We miss you!

Project # 5- Lauren & Morgan

This morning me and my mom went and picked my oldest sister, Lauren, and my niece, Morgan up from the airport. I was very excited to see my niece after so long, and of course, my lovely sister. I am proud to say that I was the first to get her to smile- and as she grinned toothlessly away at me my heart just sang. These pictures are when we were feeding her and I got to play with her. I am SO proud!

I am mostly posting these pictures for my brother-in-law, Erik, who has been so kind to let us steal Morgan and Lauren for such a long time. Thanks Erik! I'll keep you updated and put lots more pictures up as the visit progresses.

Morgan was actually very patient and good today. We thought that she would be unhappy and ornery, but she laughed and smiled like anything. But by the time we went to the store, she was on her last straw; the only thing that kept her happy was Lauren's chapstick that quickly became saturated in saliva. And when bath time rolled around, she was NOT a happy camper- her dad wasn't there, she was in a strange place, and Uncle Ben was doing more than strange things. (Typical) But we are so excited that she is here and we hope that her visit will be a good one!

Project #4

I think that perhaps I should mention that I am a library junkie. Its a true fact; ask my mom. I go about every week. Not only can you find a delicious array of literary works, but you can rent movies. For free. Does it get any better than that? I think not!
You must excuse me; I am in a very groggy-yet-wide-awake mood. Ben and I just finished watching the very long 6th Harry Potter, which made me feel extremely sad, disappointed, anxious for the next movie, and an everlasting wish that I could do magic. Don't deny it- you've always wanted to go to Hogwarts too. I'll try to return to the subject, though. This morning I went to Stake Humanitarian and watched the little kids for a bit, got bored, was not needed, and so I found myself 2 hours later obsessively tying a quilt. I ended up staying for longer than intended, but I felt good about volunteering and helping out. Then, I went to my friend Louisa's house. She is a dear; poor thing just got her wisdom teeth out and she thinks she looks like a chipmunk. Feel better Lou!(This is her; beautiful, isn't she?) Then my trip to the library went as follows: I came, I saw, I conquered. Pretty much. Got lots of things done, and I got many books. Anyway, I will not be blogging tomorrow because it will be a cleaning day; my sister is coming in town and I have this thing with cleaning. I am very excited to see her and my niece!
I have conquered this day. I'm so tired.
